9.3 Develop Project Team
Process Definition
Upon team, acquisition, and skills assessment additional skills development training sharpens the team skills set and ready the team to work together as a unit. Investing in human capital has multiple benefits in improving productivity and morale.
Process Assessment
Team building requires an understanding of the culture and boundaries all team members agree to be bound to usually written up in a team charter. Once in a while disagreements occur but having ground rules will alleviate this situation in most cases. However, the project manager or manager might have to remove a team member for an infraction, for which there is no remedy.
