7.1 Plan Cost Management

Process Definition   

Plan Cost Management concerns itself with planning, managing, and controlling monetary expenditures utilizing Microsoft Excel Template to track costs.

 Process Assessment

Cost Management planning it is imperative to gather as much input as possible data inputs relative to the organization and the project along with the requirements of the product being produced. From my experience the more data points that you can obtain results in a better managed cost plan.

In PGMT 502, one of the concerns of running a project is how to track and communicate expenditures. This document discusses the formulas and techniques used to track and control costs.

Project Dashboard-Cost Management 614:

In PGMT 614, the paper discusses dashboards with embedded dashboards modified from templates with bicycle project costs this output is generated in this process to control costs.
